Congratulations to Tjaart de Wit for earning the American Geophysical Union’s Outstanding Student Presentation Award at the Fall 2023 AGU Annual Meeting held in San Francisco, CA. De Wit’s presentation was tilted, “Observing the anatomy of slope failure using time-lapse seismic velocity changes event.”
De Wit is a senior geophysicist at the Institute of Mine Seismology and a PhD student in the CWP.
